Rigsby is a 16 month, 50 pound pointer/pit mix.
He has a high energy level and is shy and a little nervous around new things. But with a soft voice and kind demeanor, he is quick to turn brave. He would flourish with a patient person to help build his confidence and ease his insecurities.
He would do great with further obedience class or agility. He is eager to please and very food motivated. He sits like a champ! Knows down and is working on stay.
He walks well on a leash unless there is a deer or rabbit, taunting him. He adores female dogs and has been non-reactive to cats, a tortoise, and chickens. He has been great with kids, though can be bouncy and knocks them over.
He can entertain himself with toys, but would prefer to be walking or running outdoors. He would do great with a fenced in yard so that he can get his zoomies out.
He does not love his crate, though he will go in for a cookie or a bone, but he will stare at you with those perpetual sad eyes that eat at your soul.
He is potty trained, and he will go to his leash to ask to go outside when he needs to go potty.
He’s amazing in the car!
After a fun day, he loves to snuggle up with you and lounge for a good nap.
