Walter, the sweet American Bully, has been through a tough time in the past, and it’s left him feeling a bit uncertain and shy. He needs a special kind of love and care – from people who can help build his confidence and trust. This adorable boy thrives on affection, positive reinforcement, and sweet baby talk!
Walter dreams of finding a forever home where he can get all the pets, snuggles, and love his heart desires. He might even get along with a calm, well-trained female in the home, but he’ll never be the life of the dog park party. Walter has a sensitive heart, and about a year ago, he went through a traumatic experience (dog fight) and as a result, he is now apprehensive around other dogs. Canine social gatherings make him anxious and he would much rather spend his days snuggled up with his favorite humans. You won’t find Walter at gatherings or picnics, but he’ll be happy to be your loyal companion at home, where it’s cozy and quiet.
Walter’s favorite things in life include snuggling in cozy blankets, getting belly rubs, and lounging in sunny spots. Walter is crate-trained, housebroken, and non-destructive (well maybe not if you’re a toy stuffy!) This clever guy is super food-motivated, making training a breeze! While he’s not a high-energy pup, he loves bursting into zoomies and going on leisurely walks with his favorite humans.
