Mac is a neutered seven-year-old pit bull who LOVES to snuggle with his people. He has a massive head that he likes to bury into the laps of anyone and everyone around. He enjoys head scratches and belly rubs and does an adorable little prance twice a day before breakfast and dinner.
He is good with other dogs (although he does sometimes try to hump them), but is wary of people he doesn’t know — unless they are walking a dog, then he’s fine with them. It’s almost like he sees the other dog and understands the person is cool. That said, Mac needs an experienced owner who understands pit bulls as he has occasionally jumped at people on the street when he gets startled.
Ideally Mac’s forever home would be a quiet house with plenty of space outside of a major city. He probably should not be in a loud home or one with young children.
Mac is an absolutely wonderful dog for the right owner, and I am heartbroken to have to give him up. Unfortunately the loss of a job and landlord issues have made continuing to care for him impossible for me.
