This guy was taken after a stray hold in Colonie last summer. Because of the physical (and mental) condition he came in, it has taken us a long time to get him healthy and to start him on a little obedience. Krieger was abused and starved. There is no doubt. But he has come a long way. It has taken him some time to realize we are here to help him and feed him. Initially he had no connection with people at all. Most likely a dog chained outside.
At this point we are looking for a trial foster/ adopt situation for him. He has been living in my kennel and now we need to see how he would be in a home. I have too many dogs in my house to make it possible to properly evaluate him. He is not aggressive but gets stimulated by other dogs. A tolerant female would be ok.
He loves to ride in the car and he is crate trained. He is a nice guy, but strong.
