Some dogs spend their entire lives by each other’s side, and Lucy (13) and Harley (10) are one of those special pairs. These beloved Miniature Doberman Pinschers recently lost the only home they’ve ever known when their owner’s declining health made it impossible to continue caring for them. Through it all, they have had each other.
Now, these sweet seniors are searching for a second chance, and they need it together. Lucy and Harley share a bond that cannot be broken. They find comfort in one another, play together, nap together, and face every new experience side by side.
Don’t let their ages fool you. These two are housebroken, energetic, playful, and still have plenty of pep in their step. They would love a family or individual who enjoys an active lifestyle and can appreciate the joy, loyalty, and companionship that only senior dogs can provide.
Senior dogs are often overlooked in shelters and rescues, but Lucy and Harley deserve so much more than that. They have spent years giving unconditional love, and now they need someone willing to open their heart and give them the security of a forever home for the rest of their days.
