Meet Ladle! 🥄

Ladle’s recipe for a fresh start began when she was rescued by OOTP, heavily pregnant and abandoned in an empty apartment. Not long after arriving, this sweet mama served up a litter of 9 beautiful little utensils and lovingly raised them. Now that her pups are growing up, it’s finally Ladle’s turn to be the main course and find a family of her very own!

We estimate Ladle is about 2–3 years old. She’s house-trained, has excellent house manners, and hasn’t been destructive at all in her foster home. This sweet girl is friendly with other dogs she’s met and enjoys making new canine companions.

While Ladle is happy to share her kitchen with other pups, she wouldn’t be the best match for a feline roommate—cats tend to spark her interest a little too much, and she enjoys the chase.

Ladle loves kids and, although she can be a bit shy when meeting new adults, she warms up with a little patience and kindness. After spending part of her life knowing only the walls of an abandoned apartment, the world is still a big new place. She’s looking for a family willing to let her explore it at her own pace while showing her all the good things life has to offer.

One thing’s for sure—this girl travels like a pro! Ladle rides beautifully in the car and would make the perfect co-pilot for errands, coffee runs, and everyday adventures.
