Mama Lu has spent the last several months devoted to raising her family, and now it’s finally her turn to be the one who is loved and spoiled.

Luissa came into rescue with seven tiny, one-day-old puppies depending on her. She was underweight, dehydrated, and in need of plenty of care herself. With lots of nurturing, quality nutrition, and four meals a day, she blossomed into a healthy, happy little dog. Most importantly, she proved to be an amazing mother. Thanks to her dedication, all seven of her beautiful puppies have found wonderful homes of their own.

Now Mama Lu is ready to find hers.

Weighing just 13 pounds, Luissa is a delightful mix of several toy breeds and is estimated to be between 2 and 3 years old. She is crate trained and does well with housebreaking when provided regular potty breaks every 3–4 hours during the day.

Luissa loves her daily walks and gets excited the moment she sees her harness and leash come out. She also enjoys riding shotgun on errands, happily accompanying her person wherever the day leads. When she’s not out and about, you’ll find her enjoying a tasty biscuit or chew, or curled up contentedly in your lap.
