Hi, I’m Wesley! 💛 I came into rescue mid-March with a spiral fracture to my tibia. My foster family has been tasked with keeping me, an almost 4 month old silly puppy, calm while I recover 😆 I had been getting weekly splint changes but after recent X-rays showing how well I’m healing I don’t need them anymore! I will still need to take it easy and be restricted for the next month. But have decided to start my search for forever now! I will either complete my recovery in my foster home or if you are willing to help me in my recovery, even better! I’m a very happy boy looking forward to being able to run around like all the other puppies!

I am currently fostered with two other dogs and love them. I also super love my people, I am foster mommas boy for sure. I like to follow her closely and enjoy snuggling up by her side or on her lap. While I am very loyal and affectionate with my trusted humans, it does take me a little bit to warm up to people on first meet.

I am veryyyyy playful! I love toys of all kinds and will easily entertain myself going from toy to toy. I can be a bit mouthy and nippy so older kids would be best for me. I’m still learning that toys are for chomping, not hands!

I’m working on my potty training but getting better each day. I sleep the whole night in my crate and will take naps in there during the day if you need to get things done.
