Walter is a gentle soul who’s faced some challenges. After a traumatic experience, he’s become cautious around other dogs and prefers the safety of his indoor space. This affectionate boy thrives on love, positive reinforcement, and gentle interactions.

Walter’s Ideal Home:

• A quiet household with people who work from home or are retired
• No small children, as Walter’s size might be a bit much for them to handle, and he thinks he’s a small lap dog at heart!
• An only dog household, where he can be the center of attention
• Lots of snuggles, pets, and one-on-one time with his humans
• He loves to sleep with his favorite people and enjoys quiet time

About Walter:

• He’s well-behaved, crate-trained, and housebroken
• Food-motivated, making training easy and fun.  Eating is Walter’s MOST favorite thing!
• Enjoys cozy blankets, sunny spots, and occasional bursts of playful energy (watch out for zoomies!)
• He’s a loyal companion who will entertain himself while also cherishing time with his humans
