Meet Ivey, a loving 4-year-old spayed female Pit Bull.
This sweet girl has been through a lot, but her resilient spirit remains unbroken. Ivey’s original owners had plans to breed her, but a veterinary specialist discovered a congenital cataract that made breeding inadvisable. Sadly, her owners abandoned her. Luckily, the kind-hearted specialist adopted Ivey, intending to give her a wonderful life. However, fate had other plans, and the specialist was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. After her passing, an emergency veterinarian generously provided Ivey with a temporary home.
Now, Ivey is looking for her forever home.
She’s a bundle of joy, always eager to please and playful. Ivey loves kids, gets along with other dogs, and is housebroken. She’s also great in her crate. However, she can be too energetic around cats and pulls on walks due to her strength.
