Because of her sharp mind, she would thrive with an adopter who has some dog training experience and appreciates a pup who likes to think for herself.

A secure yard or tie-out is important for Dora because, in her opinion, fences are more of a friendly suggestion than a hard rule. 😉

This sweetheart absolutely adores her foster mom, but she’s a total flirt when it comes to her foster dad. She’ll roll onto her back, flash her best puppy-dog eyes, and charm him every chance she gets. Dora knows exactly how to work a room!

Despite her size, Dora has a wonderful balance of energy and relaxation. She enjoys long walks and outdoor adventures, but she’s equally happy curling up on the couch for a cozy rainy-day snooze. She is both house-trained and crate-trained, though she doesn’t need a crate since she’s well-behaved and not destructive.

Because Dora is a strong, enthusiastic girl, she would do best in a home with older children who can comfortably handle her size and zest for life.
