At just 10 months old, Dodge is still figuring out this whole “world” thing. He missed out on some early socialization, so he can be a little cautious meeting new people (hey, aren’t we all?). But give him a little patience and a gentle approach, and suddenly he’s your biggest fan. Life is then complete with full-body snuggles and the kind of loyalty you can’t buy.
Dodge loves his crate, which he considers his personal studio apartment. He happily goes in his crate when he wants to sleep or wants some peace and quiet. He is doing wonderfully with housebreaking, and his foster mom says he’s a super easy puppy who really wants to learn. His house manners are coming along beautifully, and he’s discovering how amazing it feels to be safe and loved after a not so wonderful start to life.
Dodge is fostered with dogs, a cat, goats, and chickens and is a rockstar with all of them. He loves to go for car rides and is ready for adventure. At 26 pounds, Dodge is likely as big as he will get. This makes him the perfect size for laps, couches, car seats, and even that spot on your bed. Although we all know how much bed space even a small dog takes up!
