This handsome boy lives up to his name “Bear”. At 14 months old and weighing 82 pounds when he wants to snuggle, he usually gets his way. He is crate trained, but will happily spoon you if given the chance.
He gets along with other dogs and is always up for a game of chase of tug or catch me if you can, either the chaser or the one being chased he’s not too picky. Bear is a very smart guy learning to ring the potty bell to go out without formally being taught to do so. Unfortunately he also learned how to open his food bin to help himself to a snack whenever the mood strikes. With his big brain and good motivation he is easily trainable.
He would love a home with a fenced yard so he can run free and play. Bear is working hard on his leash manners, with his large size he would do best with somebody experienced in large dominate breeds. A home with no small children is a must due to his size and him not knowing his size or strength. Please also keep in mind, we believe Bear to be a mastiff mix which means he is likely a guardian breed and adopters should consider that when applying.
