At just 6 months old, Akito is a playful, energetic pup who is busy learning all about the world—and how to be the very best boy!

We’re still getting to know Akito, and we’ll continue to learn more about his personality as he settles in, but one thing we already know for sure: so far, we are completely in love!

When it comes to other dogs, Akito can be assertive when he wants attention or wants to play. He’s still young and learning how to read cues and respect boundaries, so he could potentially do well with a confident female fur sister who can help show him the ropes. He’d also be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as your one and only pup.

Like any youngster, Akito can get a little enthusiastic during playtime with both his human and canine friends, so a home without small children would likely be the best fit while he continues working on his puppy manners. What he needs most is a family who will give him the patience, consistency, structure, and love every growing puppy deserves.

Akito has so much potential, and we can’t wait to see more of his personality shine through. He’s ready to find someone who will help him grow from a silly, playful puppy into an amazing companion.
