Meet Ethel! Are you looking for a companion that likes to be by your side? Work from home and looking to satisfy the urge to snuggle a special someone? Like to get out and about and might have room in the front seat for a co-pilot? Then you’ll want to check out Ethel.
Ethel is a special small little lady (at almost 4 months old, she’s weighing a whopping 11 lbs – estimated to grow to 20-25lbs) who greatly wants to be your shadow. She’s most comfortable with someone by her side at all times. While she gets along well with her foster dog siblings and child siblings, she’s is going to need a tolerant male sibling (small/medium sized), someone who is submissive and wouldn’t mind if she stole the attention from time to time, or as a single dog. She’s playful, likes to jump in the yard and get out the zoomies.
We’re currently working on our potty and crate training. I’m easily startled by car sounds and squeak toys, so I’m still learning my surroundings and after new experiences I begin to warm up and show my larger-than-life personality. She would be the perfect companion for someone who works from home, is retired, or has a lifestyle in which I could tag along every moment of your day. Ethel is very much a lap dog and likes to be cuddled and held. She is quite the attention ham.
She does have a cognitive condition (as you can see my eyes have a blueish tint), where her pupil does not allow for her eye to naturally adjust to sunlight. As such, she is sensitive to bright lights, and naturally adjusts to her condition (which will not get better and will not get worse) by squinting. She can see everything quite well, just more comfortable in a dim light or on a cloudy day.
