Captain Frankie- Adopted

Ahoy, I’m Captain Frankie a playful, super soft 6-month young snuggler, who enjoys time with my humans, I do also enjoy a little “me time” chewing my bone or my stuffed fish.

Who likes walks…this guy! I like to investigate new people, places and other animals, I’m not the kind of pup who rushing into new situation without a minute to check them out first. If we are going on a walk somewhere new I like to take my time and take in the sites and smells and I expect everyone to pet me. Sometimes I sit down during a walk to sniff the air before I’m ready to go. You know my nose tells me so much about new things! Did I mention, I love playing fetch and running in the yard. Daddy says I’m great at playing fetch!

I am early to rise and early to bed. My foster mommy and daddy love that I sleep nine hours each night in my crate without making a peep.I enjoy occasional naps throughout the day.

My two favorite things in the whole world are my people and doggie play dates! I love to meet new people and their furry friends; I have not met a dog that I didn’t like (Yay! More friends).

Did I mention, I have a nine-year-old human foster sister and there are two cats here also. I am very interested in my cat friends, but I am getting better at leaving them alone with some positive reinforcement and distraction. I would prefer a home without cats or at least one with a very dog savy cat. I love my human foster sister, we snuggle and play and have a great time together. I really hope my forever home has a child to call my own and I’d love a k9 sister too!

I know how to sit and come and I’m working on learning some other commands like stay, wait and off. I still have an occasional accident, but my mommy and daddy have seen steady improvement and say I’m about 80% potty trained.
