Volunteer

Are you passionate about Pit Bulls?

We have a fantastic team of volunteers, and we welcome you to join our Rescue’s efforts to help Pit Bulls in need and to educate the public about the true nature of Pit Bulls. There are many volunteer opportunities for you to explore, and we are always looking for new ideas! Whether you would like to volunteer once a month or once a week, your participation allows our dogs and puppies as well as all of our programs to succeed. We can only continue our mission with the dedication and support of our volunteers!

If you are interested in becoming an OOTP volunteer, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator at: Volunteer@outofthepits.org. Our coordinator will send you our volunteer application along with information regarding our next volunteer orientation. In order to handle our dogs, we do require that you participate in our dog handling classes.

More About Us

Out of the Pits, Inc. is a registered 501c3 not‐for‐profit organization. All members of our organization are volunteers, and 100% of all donations are dedicated to saving the dogs.

Your donations pay for their food, housing, and veterinary care. IRS authorization number is 16-1560721. Right now, we are able to save only a small percentage of the abandoned and abused Pit Bulls that we are asked to accept into our program every day. Many must be turned away only because we lack sufficient funding. Your contribution will help save a dog’s life.
