Donate Your Time:

Out of The Pits is always looking for new volunteers.  There are countless ways in which you can help.  A few of the many opportunities would be helping at clinics, participating in fundraisers, transporting dogs or puppies, etc.

Foster a Dog:

Out of The Pits does not have a facility, so the number of dogs we are able to take in at any one time is directly related to the number of foster homes we have available.   When someone becomes a foster for OOTP, it literally means a dog can be taken into rescue that we couldn’t have taken otherwise.  It may mean the difference between life and death for that dog.

Dog Toys:

OOTP is happy to accept used or new dog toys for our Pitbulls — many of whom have never had toys before. We are especially in need of hard rubber or Nylabone type chew toys, tennis balls, Frisbees, and the like. See our contact information page for our mailing address.

Materials:

OOTP is in need of all types of dog related supplies including crates, leashes, collars, food, and veterinary supplies. As a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, your donation is fully tax deductible.

More About Us

Out of the Pits, Inc. is a registered 501c3 not‐for‐profit organization. All members of our organization are volunteers, and 100% of all donations are dedicated to saving the dogs.

Your donations pay for their food, housing, and veterinary care. IRS authorization number is 16-1560721. Right now, we are able to save only a small percentage of the abandoned and abused Pit Bulls that we are asked to accept into our program every day. Many must be turned away only because we lack sufficient funding. Your contribution will help save a dog’s life.
