Joey is one special boy who is here with us in rescue because of the selfless and courageous efforts of a volunteer named Mary. Mary is a volunteer for Stray from the Heart, a NYC based rescue, who’s mission is to save the 250,000 strays that roam the island of Puerto Rico.
Joey is one of those special dogs who was snagged up prior to hurricane Maria, and what a wonderful and happy boy he is! He adores people and does well with other dogs as he lived with many of them.
He is very happy lying half on and half off the couch, feeling spoiled by the luxury of such a thing. He also enjoys running around the yard like every young boy does. Joey is loving life and doing well in his foster home, adjusting well to upstate life!
