Bob – On hold for surgery
If a photo could sum up a dogs personality then Bob’s photo shows his goofy nature for sure! Bob was rescued off the streets of Puerto Rico after hurricane Irma and it took over 2 months to arrange for his travel to NY. He previously lived with many other dogs prior to making the trip up to the northeast, so he would likely enjoy the company of a female dog in his new home.
Bob is currently fostered with a female dog and a cat. Here is what his foster mom has to say about this sweet fellow:
“Bob is great on a leash! He is great in a crate! He is a little nervous about new sounds (tv, really loud crow outside, hairdryer, crunchy leaves, etc) but is doing great. He loves his canine foster sister and the couch and he is a total lap dog.
Bob is good in the car, with and without a crate. He seems interested in my cat, but when we call him he stops and comes to us, and his tail wags the whole time. He has no problem letting you know when he wants his belly rubbed, and that no, you’re not done, keep rubbing the belly. This guy is funny as can be!”
